Bam! We’re up and running again Pios. It’s the big time now; we’re seniors! I’ve personally been looking forward to this for a while now, but now that it’s arrived, I’m not sure what to make of being the “big dogs” on campus. This year promises to be one filled with an abundance of ups and downs.

How are we going to survive?

First and foremost, I advise you guys to find yourself. This is your last year on campus, do something new! Watch an Oral Expressions show, join a new sport, write for the paper… The possibilities are endless! Being involved has allowed me to meet so many new people who will (hopefully!) better me for years to come.

While you’re at it, find your true friends. You’re going to need people to confide to when the goings get rough. These people may be those teammates you see everyday, your siblings, or people far and wide. Quantity does not offset quality. To reword this, you may have one best friend or multiple people who you trust and care for. Just make sure your happiness is in their best interests.

Last but not least, enjoy each and every day! There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that you’ll have a few bad days this year, but don’t let those days bring your overall spirit down class of 2017. This is YOUR year. ONE-SEVEN!

Much love,

Andy Ho
