Let’s get down to makeup. I got the amazing dupes to share with you guys that will save you a ton of money. It’s nice to buy high end makeup and splurge on Sephora, but sometimes, it’s even nicer to save money as well! Today, I’ll show y’alls dupes (or similar products) for many beloved and holy grail makeup items.
Becca’s Champagne Pop Highlighter ($38) vs Wet ‘n Wild’s To Reflect Shimmer Palette ($6)
Both of these highlight give a light golden swatch and look extremely beautiful on the cheekbones. No huge chunks of glitter on both products, each gives an amazing and pure sheen. Also, the textures of both highlighters have a similar, buttery feel– only, Becca is a pressed powder whereas WNW is a baked formula. This is a $32 savings for a gorgeous and popping highlight!
Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit in Dolce K ($30) vs Colourpop’s Ultra Matte Lip in Beeper ($6)
These two matte liquid lipsticks are very similar in color as well as wear. Both swatch a mauve, pink nude on the lips and set very well on the lips– it doesn’t feel drying on the lips whatsoever. Each liquid lipstick also have a long wearing time, so you won’t be constantly reapplying. However, the only small difference (besides the price) is that Beeper has more pinkish and red undertones whereas Dolce K is more brown and neutral.
Anastasia’s Brow Wiz ($21) vs NYX’s Micro Brow Pencil ($10)
Two essential items in makeup routine, your brows need to be on fleek. Both perform very well as brow products, they have a great pigmentation that gives off a more natural look! They last fairly well on your brows, just make sure to set it with a brow gel. Both brow pencils also have a spooley brush at the opposite ends which is totally convenient and travel friendly!
Tarte’s 12 Hour Clay Blush in Exposed ($28) vs Milani’s Powder Blush in Romantic Rose ($9)
Add some color to your cheeks with these two amazing and pretty blushes. Both are rosy toned and bring a romantic and sultry feel to any makeup look. They also have an appealing and beautiful print that will look great on your vanity. The only difference between the two is that Tarte’s blush will last longer, as it claims– but if you don’t mind reapplying with Milani’s, go ahead and save that money and purchase the dupe!
